Feeling tired or off-balance? Among life's hustle, discover the revitalizing power of the adrenal cocktail. Whether you're in need of a midday pick-me-up or looking to boost your energy levels throughout the day, the adrenal cocktail has got you covered. With its blend of citrusy goodness, essential electrolytes, and optional flavor enhancements, it's the perfect recipe for reclaiming your vitality and conquering whatever the day throws your way. 

A simple, yet effective blend to soothe fatigue and support adrenal health... Ready to try it out? Let's dive into the basic recipe:

Basic Adrenal Cocktail Recipe:

  • Citrus: Start with ¼ to 1 cup of fresh-squeezed orange juice and add a splash of fresh lemon or lime juice for an extra zing.

  • Salt: Incorporate ¼ teaspoon of high-quality salt such as Celtic Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt to replenish electrolytes. And if a bestie lives on the island of Crete, have them share their salts! Thank you Marg, I am blessed!

  • Cream of Tartar: Add ½ teaspoon of cream of tartar for its potassium content, which helps balance electrolytes and support muscle function.

Now, here's where the fun begins – throwing your own spin on it! Get creative with your ingredients and mix things up to suit your taste preferences and nutritional needs. You could experiment with using my all time favorite Gerolsteiner, coconut water and different citrus fruits like grapefruit or blood orange for a unique flavor profile. Or perhaps try adding a dash of ginger or a sprig of mint for an extra kick. My favorite is adding my custom blend of minerals along with some kombucha. 

But hey, if mixing up a concoction isn't your style, don't worry! There's another option that's just as effective and even more convenient: ditch the DIY and opt for LMNT electrolyte drink mix instead. Simply mix your favorite flavor of LMNT with some sparkling natural mineral water for a bubbly, refreshing twist on the classic adrenal cocktail.

Now, you might be wondering, "When's the best time to sip on this revitalizing elixir?" The answer: between 10 am to 2 pm. Why? Because during this time frame, your stress hormones naturally dip, making it the perfect window to give your adrenals some extra support and replenishment. But again, nothing is set in stone and personally for me I drink mine at night. This is my version of a mocktail and I enjoy it while I am cooking dinner. So just find your flow(obviously, if you find it keeps you awake at night and getting in the way of your precious beauty sleep then try another time) when it works best for you because getting any adrenal support at any time of day is magical.
